Pigeon Detectives - Cancelamento

Noticia do dia, que não queria ouvir: o cancelamento dos Pigeon Detectives para Paredes de Coura.
Segundo as edições on-line do Blitz e Disco Digital, a banda já não vem a Portugal.
É uma grande desilusão. Queria muito (onde é que eu já ouvi isto) que eles viessem.
Desta vez ficámos a perder e muito.

Estava à espera que alguém desse um comentário sobre os Pigeon.
Estou desiludido.
Acho que estes rapazes são muito bons e vão fazer furor.
Esperem para ver.

The bass pedal got the mass clapping going and from there on in The Pigeon Detectives never looked back. This gig was what I was expecting, good British indie and a good British crowd. They're the kind of band that if you weren’t a massive fan then you’d know one or two of their songs from radio or on one of those dodgy compilation albums.
Matt Bowman pulled out every trick in the book of showmanship with his mic swirling (I thought he was going to have the bass players eye out), jumping into the crowds, climbing speakers, air guitar and, of course, his favourite - getting the crowd clapping.
Without doubt it was the band's singles that stirred up the crowds, so it was tough luck for them when, as they launched into one of their new tracks, the sound went. Blissfully unaware they played through it until order was restored.
Whether this band has enough to consistently stand out from the crowd remains to be seen but it seems their next album offering has the sing-along chorus qualities that worked so well for them last time.
